Garden Tobers

Some of you may remember Garden Tober. He lived in the Library's Secret Garden for a very long time.

Well, I am Sad to report that Garden Tober has been replaced. He was mortally wounded while defending the Garden from Ice and Snow. (Actually his ear broke off and he looked tacky so AB Karen said to put him in the trash.)

I commanded that my staff replace him so that I was properly represented in the Outside World. They brought a very handsome concrete cat for the Garden and put my "Tober" necklace on him.

But then one of my AABs looked out the window this morning and saw this:

What happened here? Did someone covet my beautiful necklace? Were they trying to make Garden Tober II look goofy? I made AAB Photographer go out and put the necklace on properly. Soon I will contact CSI: Thorntown to discover who perpetrated this shenanigan! I will fine them one (1) skid-load of Temptations--the catnip flavor ones--and two (2) ethernet cords for their misbehavior!

But until then I will look handsome and purposesly not-pose with my picture:

How long do you think it would take me to eat a skid-load of Temptations? How many are in a skid-load?

Doing lots of maths,

Tober

Your garden tobers don't have good fortune. First one gets killed, then one gets .... what do you call wearing a necklace around one's eyes? Anyway, we hope this garden tober will survive.

Well! That was rude of whoever-did-that! I do agree that a fine is in order!

Who would do that to your outdoor kitty ?

As I type, Meredith Ann is swishing her tail back and forth. Makes it hard to talk to you.

Well, that's not funny, Tober!! We hope you find the culprit that messed with your necklace!!

And if you think you might have some trouble eating a skid load of Temptations, we'll be happy to come over and help you.

Golly! You should have auctioned off Busted Tober for the Library; we bet he'd have brought in several skid loads of temptations. After all, some of us kitties are missing ears and other bits. As to skid loads, we think that is 7845 bags, containing 96 2/3 nuggets each, for a Grand Total of 37 SQUILLION temptations!! (catnip flavored)

We can't believe it's been so long since we visited your blog, Tober, we'll blame it on mom. Really, she's so busy this time of year with all the new kitties and stuff. We think a skidload of temptations is a whole lot, but, it should'nt take to long to eat them if you share. Psst, do you know they issued new library cards here so you can download borrowed books on the computer and mom never went and got the new one...she feels ashamed.

Oh Tober! Who could do such a terrible thing! We certainly hope your CSI figures it out!

We like the new Tober statue, but we t hink the other one should have stayed too! A missing ear simply gave it some character!
